New Pictures (7 weeks)

I can't believe Jace is already 7 weeks! He is getting so big! He is such a sweet baby! He loves to be talked to and coos and smiles when he is happy! He loves to play with his floor gym! He grabs on to the rings and laughs at it! We have his 2 month appointment next Wednesday and I will post his stats after that.

Baby Blessing

On Sunday Brent blessed Jace at church. It was such a sweet blessing and he did a good job. Jace was in such a good mood all day. He was awake for part of the blessing and didn't cry at all. My Mom made him his little outfit! It turned out great and he looked so sweet in it! Thank you Mom for all the time it took you to make it. We were so happy to have a special outfit for him to wear for his special day!

Jace's 1 month stats

Jace's was one month last Saturday

Birth he weighed 6lbs 2oz.
at 1 month 8lbs 8oz.

I can't believe how big he is getting already... It's going by too fast. I'm trying to enjoy every minute of it. Before I know it he wont be a baby anymore and I know I'll miss it!

playing catch up

I am so behind on posting recent events in our lives.

On the night of my due date at 3:30-6:00 in the morning I starting having regular contractions about 5 minutes apart. Brent was getting ready to stay home from work but they starting getting farther apart. So i told him I would keep him updated on how I was doing. I kept having contractions ranging from 3-10 mins apart all day. I went and hung out with my my mom and dad at their house. Around 4 pm my contractions were about 3 mins apart and getting stronger. I told Brent that he needed to leave work. I quickly ate dinner and when Brent got at my parents he ate really quick and then we headed for the hospital.

When we got to the hospital(around 6pm) I was dilated to 6cm. By 9:50 I was ready to push.

Jace Carter Ellibee Arrived at 10:26 pm.
6lbs 2oz, 18.75 inches long

We love him so much. He is such a good baby. He has a mild sweet temperament. We couldn't be more blessed!!

39th week appt.

I had my 39th week appointment yesterday and I'm still dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced! I've been trying to do lots of walking. I'm hoping this will move the process along a little faster. I walked around Target, Kohls, and walmart and still no regular contractions yet. I have 6 days till my due date and if he hasn't come by 40 weeks I'll probably schedule an induction for 41 weeks. I'm just really hoping he comes on his own though! Wish me luck!!

Baby Showers

Here are some pictures from the three different baby showers we had! The first was from some of the girls in Flemming Park ward. Brent's work threw us one and then we had a couples baby shower for friends and family that my mom and sister threw for us!! They were all so much fun and we appreciate all the work put into them and the gifts!!

Everyday I wonder and dream what our little Jace will look like! I can't wait to see and hold him! I think he will look more like Brent but we will just have to wait and see.
