39th week appt.

I had my 39th week appointment yesterday and I'm still dilated to a 3 and 70% effaced! I've been trying to do lots of walking. I'm hoping this will move the process along a little faster. I walked around Target, Kohls, and walmart and still no regular contractions yet. I have 6 days till my due date and if he hasn't come by 40 weeks I'll probably schedule an induction for 41 weeks. I'm just really hoping he comes on his own though! Wish me luck!!

Baby Showers

Here are some pictures from the three different baby showers we had! The first was from some of the girls in Flemming Park ward. Brent's work threw us one and then we had a couples baby shower for friends and family that my mom and sister threw for us!! They were all so much fun and we appreciate all the work put into them and the gifts!!

Baby Pictures

Everyday I wonder and dream what our little Jace will look like! I can't wait to see and hold him! I think he will look more like Brent but we will just have to wait and see.

Jace's Room

So we got our crib and some things hung on the wall. We still have a few things to hang and we need to get a mattress and sheets and a couple other things for the room! I finally finished his blanket with lots of help from my mom. I think it turned out so cute! I just love how his room has turned out! Every time I go down the hallway I just have to take a little peek at his room! I can't wait for him to get here! Only 6 more weeks!

Baby Crib

Brent and I have been looking at cribs since before I was pregnant! We couldn't make up our mind which one we liked best. It's such a big purchase and we were hoping to make the crib last throughout all of our kids. We wanted to pick one that was good quality but not pay an outrageous amount of money.

We finally found one we really liked and decided to put it on layaway. We didn't have any room in our other house for it and weren't sure when our house would sell and we would be in a new one. We had it ordered and the plan was to get the crib June 1st. Well I guess the crib manufacturer is moving facilities or something and now we wont be able to get the crib until sometime in July, which is only a month before the baby comes. I'm so bummed!!

FYI.. We are painting the room a light green. It will be so cute!

We're Moving!!

For of those of you who didn't know were moving this weekend! It's bitter sweet for us! We are so excited to be in a new bigger house but at the same time so sad to leave our wonderful ward! We love the ward we our in now! We are only moving about 25 mins away so at least we will still be close to all of our friends! I am so excited to have a big enough bedroom for the baby and to decorate the baby's new room! It will be so much fun!

I'll post pictures of our new house as soon as we move and of the baby's room after I get it painted and decorated... it might be a while for that though!

IT'S A BOY!

It was so fun to see our little baby again! We were so excited to find out what he was. When it was time for the sonographer to tell us what we were having he was in the wrong possition. She had me lay on my left side for a little bit and then finally he was ready to show us he was a boy! We are so excited! I can't wait till we move into our next house and I can decorate his room.This is my favorite pic! You can see his cute little toes!
